Job summary

Alfred H Knight is seeking a Site Services Operative to join our Facilities team at Lea Green, St Helens. This hands-on role covers general maintenance, housekeeping, logistics support and site operations to keep the site running safely and efficiently.

You will travel between North West sites and collaborate with Laboratory and Health & Safety teams; a valid UK driving licence is essential. A forklift licence is desirable, and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset is required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel between North West sites.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work effectively unsupervised.
• Outstanding attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to participate in an out‑of‑hours call‑out system when needed.
• High regard for health, safety and environmental procedures.
