ROLE: Site Services Technician
HOURS: 42 hours per week
SHIFT: 4 on 4 off 12hrs shift 6pm-6am night shift

We're looking for an Engineering Maintenance Technician to deliver safe, compliant and reliable engineering maintenance across site assets within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. The role ensures all services are performed in line with GxP, SHE and statutory compliance requirements, supporting operational continuity, asset performance and client satisfaction.
The post holder will operate as part of a multi-skilled technical team, providing both reactive and planned maintenance, while contributing to continuous improvement, risk mitigation and service excellence across the contract.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical and process systems, ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant and fully operational.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on HVAC, BMS, utilities and process plant equipment, minimising downtime and supporting operational continuity.
- Complete inspections, calibrations and statutory compliance activities, maintaining accurate and auditable records within CAFM/SAP systems.
- Ensure full compliance with GxP, SHE, SOPs, permit-to-work systems and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), maintaining audit-ready standards at all times.
- Support maintenance planning, reliability improvement initiatives and continuous improvement activities, including RCM, RCA and CBM methodologies.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, providing clear communication, excellent customer service and support across the wider FM contract.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (or equivalent) with proven experience in a technical FM or engineering maintenance environment.
- Strong understanding of GxP, SHE and statutory compliance requirements, with experience working within regulated or critical environments.
- Multi-skilled engineering capability with mechanical, electrical or process maintenance experience and excellent fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on HVAC, BMS, utilities and process systems, together with knowledge of PPM, RCM, RCA and CBM maintenance methodologies.
- Competent in the use of CAFM systems such as SAP and able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
