Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Site Services Engineer for a high- tech FMCG manufacturing facility in Gloucestershire. You will maintain electrical and mechanical systems on automated production lines, perform fault-finding, and drive planned maintenance to keep equipment running at peak efficiency.

The role requires hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, ONC+ level qualification, and the ability to work a 4-on, 4-off days/nights schedule.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial FMCG environment.
• Experience with utilities/boiler/refrigeration/water systems/PSSR/LOLER is essential.
• Hands-on maintenance across planned, reactive and breakdown tasks in a fast-paced factory.
• Ability to work a day/night shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated and semi-automated production machinery.
• Fault-finding and root-cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance to maximise uptime and efficiency.

SITE SERVICES ENGINEER

Job Title: Site Services Engineer Location: Gloucestershire Salary: Up to £52,000 Shift: 4 on, 4 off days only Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Services Engineer to join a modern, high-tech FMCG manufacturing site in Gloucestershire. You will be responsible for carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Working on a 4 on, 4 off days only shift pattern, you will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting production performance across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Site Services Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Utilities/Boiler/Refrigeration/Water systems/PSSR/LOLER experience essential.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.
• Ability to work a days and nights shift pattern.

Requirements for the Site Services Engineer

• Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.
• Recognised engineering qualification (ONC +).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical maintenance experience (motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and hydraulics).
• Basic PLC fault-finding experience advantageous.

Desirable Requirements for the Site Services Engineer

• Experience working as a Site Services Engineer in the UK.
• Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
