Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a Site Services Engineer for a permanent, on-site role at Anwick. The role covers operation and maintenance of steam boilers, refrigeration and heating systems, fluid transfer, and effluent treatment, with a focus on reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain steam boilers, refrigeration, fluid transfer, heating, hot and cold water, and effluent treatment systems.
• Work with mechanical drive systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrics.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and pipefitting tasks.
• Perform portable appliance testing and emergency light testing.
• Maintain general site fabrication and services, monitor environmental impact.

Site Services Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Participate constructively as a member of the department keeping everyone informed and proactively share your knowledge and expertise within the time.
• Apply lean thinking techniques to ensure the productive capability of the plant is optimised and improved thus demonstrating commitment towards achieving factory targets, including prompt start up times.
• Work with site personnel and commissioning engineers to ensure required process skills training is performed for all new equipment.
• Contribute to that department/ add value by developing requisite skills in this area in line with MP competency framework.
• Operation and maintenance of steam boilers, refrigeration systems, fluid transfer systems, heating systems, hot and cold-water systems and effluent treatment systems.
• Working with Mechanical Drive Systems, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and electrics.
• Preventative Maintenance
• Pipefitting
• Any other reasonable duties as required.
• Portable appliance testing.
• Emergency Light Testing.
• To maintain general good repair of site fabrication and general services.
• To monitor and control any negative environmental impact arising from the processes within area of responsibility; ensuring that all direct reports and colleagues are briefed and clear in regard to their responsibilities as outlined in the Moy Park Group Risk Management System Manual.

Skills and Knowledge
