Site Services Engineer - Stublach Gas Storage Facility, Cheshire, UK
About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety, Health & Environment:

    • Perform tasks safely, adhering to safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
    • Manage civils and grounds maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
    • Report all incidents and participate in safety forums and compliance meetings.
    • Lead investigations into estates/land management/civils maintenance incidents.
  • Operations:

    • Maintain and manage buried services drawings and interfaces for civils-based work activities.
    • Oversee the maintenance of buildings, roads, fencing, drainage, and landscaping.
    • Act as the key contact for landowner and tenant farmer interactions.
    • Support engineering and maintenance teams with civils-based issues.
    • Manage site contracts, including landscaping, civils/buildings maintenance, and more.
    • Handle local authority planning interactions and compliance requirements.
    • Manage CAPEX projects, from scope definition to completion.
    • Ensure contractor welfare facilities are well-maintained.
    • Oversee Legionella Control across buildings, ensuring compliance and conducting regular checks.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree in Civils, Construction, or Land Management.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (desirable).
  • Experience using CAT & Genny to locate existing services (EUSR Category 1 desirable).
