Job summary

Greencore London Meals is seeking a Site Services Engineer to join our Park Royal site. You will manage estate maintenance, respond to breakdowns and support asset reliability.

This hybrid role blends site-based tasks with planned maintenance. You will interpret drawings, drive continuous improvement and maintain accurate documentation. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and a pathway within a large UK food producer.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical installation and fault-finding capability within a site services or industrial environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and safely restore assets to full operational condition.
• Good working knowledge of mechanical principles, utilities systems and spare parts management.
• A structured and safety-focused approach to maintenance activities and problem solving.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to manage workload effectively.
• Competence in basic IT systems for maintenance reporting and documentation.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to reliability and performance.
• Additional qualifications or knowledge in HVAC, refrigeration, gas safety or improvement methodologies would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and carry out estate maintenance activities.
• Complete planned maintenance on site services assets.
• Undertake proactive maintenance using condition-based monitoring techniques.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance to restore service.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation and pneumatic systems.
• Manufacture or repair component parts to support asset reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and failure investigations.
• Contribute to technical performance reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and support audit requirements.
• Support the development of technical competence within the team.
• Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are available and fit for purpose.
