Job summary

Education Impact Academy Trust is seeking a Site Manager for Mayfield School in Birmingham. The role focuses on developing and maintaining a safe, compliant environment for students aged 3–19 with SEND, while coordinating day-to-day estates operations.

Based primarily at Mayfield School, you will join a Trust-wide Estates team to share ideas and drive improvements. A strong H&S background, budget handling, and supervision experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a site role, ideally in a school/college.
• Excellent working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance.
• Proactive, able to prioritise and address issues.
• Excellent team player and able to work with staff.
• Experience supervising/managing a team.
• Ability to manage a budget and undertake administrative tasks.
• Commitment to working with students with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve estate environments for students and staff; ensure ongoing maintenance and compliance.
• Be part of the Trust Central Team; collaborate across the Estates function.
• Primarily based at Mayfield School, with potential to work at other Trust premises.
• Support and implement estate strategies and capital improvements.
• Coordinate with site staff and external contractors to deliver safe, compliant settings.
