Job summary

EIAT is recruiting a Site Manager for Mayfield School to lead the estates development and ensure safe, compliant environments for pupils aged 3–19 with SEND. The role is based mainly at Mayfield, with potential work across other Trust premises.

The ideal candidate will have school/site experience, strong health & safety knowledge, budget oversight, and the ability to work collaboratively within a Trust Estates team. DBS required; early/late hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a site/estates role, preferably in schools or colleges.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance.
• Proactive, able to prioritise and address issues.
• Excellent team player with ability to work with diverse staff.
• Experience supervising/managing a team.
• Ability to manage a budget and perform admin tasks.
• Commitment to working with students with SEND and ensuring the right environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve estate environments to support students and staff.
• Oversee ongoing maintenance and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Work as part of the Trust Central Team and Estates group to share ideas and solutions.
• Based primarily at Mayfield School with potential to work at other Trust premises.
• Occasional work outside school hours; early mornings or late evenings may be required.
