Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Platform Engineer to oversee the production environment, ensuring availability and a holistic view of system health across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will design automated, scalable solutions, work with Kubernetes, Grafana, and AWS services, participate in architecture reviews, and mentor teams while delivering new features within SLAs.

Qualifications

• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, or C#) and scripting (Bash/PowerShell).
• Experience with AWS and core services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• Solid understanding of containers and microservices (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Incident management experience and ability to lead blameless postmortems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system metrics and fine-tune performance; troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Collaborate with developers to improve service quality via testing and structured releases.
• Engage in architectural discussions, manage platform operations, and forecast capacity.
• Design and implement automated solutions to build resilient, scalable systems.
• Deliver new features while maintaining stability and adherence to SLAs.
