YLEM Power is seeking a site-based maintenance operational assistant to respond quickly to equipment faults and keep detailed records of plant and infrastructure on generation facilities across the UK.
The role involves basic mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and supporting health and safety procedures while working with a skilled team. A driving licence and willingness to learn are essential.

The business brings together experienced field engineers, technical specialists, account managers and remote monitoring capabilities to help customers maximise plant availability, operational efficiency and asset life. Its services include planned and reactive maintenance, engine servicing, fault diagnosis, performance optimisation, remote monitoring, compliance support and long-term asset management.
YLEM Power supports a range of energy technologies and operational environments, including flexible generation, combined heat and power, landfill gas, battery energy storage and other decentralised energy assets. Based at small scale industrial power generation projects supplying the national grid, to respond to equipment fault should they occur during sporadic and commonly undetermined periods of operation. Work time may vary to reflect trading conditions. Opportunity to progress into semi skill/skilled roles within the business following demonstrable capability and willingness to apply mechanical or electrical aptitude.
