Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking an on-site professional to support the Site Manager across our nationwide developments. You will help deliver quality construction, ensure safety adherence, and manage site signs and materials.

You will inspect signage, protect materials, keep plots tidy, and supervise waste segregation on a daily basis, contributing to a safe, efficient site operation. A CSCS card is required.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic self-starter able to use initiative whilst working unsupervised.
• Experience of working on large volume domestic house building sites.
• Health and Safety Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all works on site as instructed by the Site Manager and in line with BDW Standards and procedures.
• Inspect all on-site signage including sale signs, plot signs and safety signs; keep them clean and in good repair.
• Take personal responsibility for health and safety on site and report breaches.
• Ensure protection of fixed material is handled by the Sub-contractor per BDW procedures.
• Maintain protection of fixed materials until the last moment and notify if removed or abused.
• Keep compound and welfare facilities, and ensure plots are tidy on a daily basis.
• Walk round plots daily; ensure no surplus materials and segregate/recycle waste per BDW guidelines.
• Check show homes and public spaces weekly and remove rubbish as needed.
