Job summary

Bloor Homes is seeking a Site Operative to join our Didcot-area operations, supporting the Site Manager and assistants in delivering high-quality housing projects. The role involves assisting trades on-site, monitoring stock, and upholding cleanliness and safety standards across the site.

You will contribute to welfare facilities, ensure compliance with health and safety measures, and be ready for first aid responsibilities when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Operative on a busy construction site.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with an enthusiastic work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and alert Site Manager when low.
• Maintain cleanliness and welfare facilities across the site.
• Provide first aid as needed on site.
• Assist with health & safety measures including pedestrian routes, fencing, fall protection and site shutdowns.
• Attend necessary meetings to support duties.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Undertake additional tasks as reasonably required.
• Ensure Covid-19 health and safety practices are observed.
