Job summary

Bloor Homes is recruiting an experienced Site Operative to join our Midlands region, based at Spondon, DE21. You will work under the Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager, supporting trades on site and helping maintain high standards across the development.

You will monitor stock, keep welfare and compounds clean, and assist with health and safety measures. A proactive, reliable approach and good communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Operative on a busy construction site.
• Good communication and time management.
• Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and inform Site Manager when low.
• Maintain cleanliness of site, welfare and compound facilities.
• Possibility of acting as first aider on site.
• Assist with health and safety measures (e.g., routes, fencing, fall protection).
• Attend meetings as required.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Undertake additional tasks as required.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, including Covid-19 measures.
