Job summary

Triumph Motorcycles Ltd in Didcot, Oxfordshire (Didcot, OX11) is seeking an experienced Site Operative to join our team and support on-site trades with general labouring duties. You will help maintain stock levels, cleanliness, welfare and site facilities while working under the Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager.

The role is site-based in the South West region, with a focus on meeting exacting standards to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Site Operative role on a busy construction site.
• Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive and hardworking with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Keeping an eye on stock levels and advising the Site Manager/Assistant Site Manager when levels are low.
• Maintaining site cleanliness, welfare and compound facilities to a high standard.
• May require acting as first aider onsite when needed.
• Assist with health and safety measures, including pedestrian routes, perimeter fencing and fall protection.
• Attend meetings as required to carry out duties.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and undertake additional tasks as needed.
• Ensure all health and safety aspects of Covid-19 are observed.

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Operative to join our South West Region, to be site based at Didcot, OX11 9BF. Working as a Site Operative, you can play a crucial role in ensuring we always meet those exacting standards, assisting the various trades on-site with general labouring duties to the very best of your ability. This role will be diverse, ranging from monitoring stock levels to maintaining satisfactory standards of cleanliness throughout the site, including welfare and compound facilities, making the Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager aware of any issues or concerns.

Main Duties

• Keeping an eye on stock levels and to make the Site Manager/Assistant Site Manager aware of the stock levels when low.
• To maintain a satisfactory level of cleanliness throughout the site, including welfare and compound facilities.
• There may be a requirement to take on the role of a first aider onsite.
• Aid with any health & safety measures in order to comply with standards, such as; pedestrian routes and access, securing perimeter fencing, installing fall protection systems and site shut down procedures.
• Attend meetings that may be necessary in the performance of your duties.
• Comply with and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Undertake any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time.
• Ensuring all health and Safety aspects of Covid-19.

Essential Skills / Attributes

• Experience in a previous role as a Site Operative on a busy construction site.
• Effective communication skills, and good time management.
• Self-motivated and proactive with an enthusiastic work ethic.
