Job summary

Bloor Homes is recruiting an experienced Site Operative to join the South West Region, based at Basingstoke. You will support on-site trades, manage stock levels, and help maintain welfare and site facilities to the highest standards.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will assist with health and safety measures, participate in meetings, and undertake additional tasks as required. The role is site-based with a hands-on environment contributing to quality homes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Site Operative role on a busy construction site.
• Strong communication and time management abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic at work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and alert the Site Manager/Assistant Site Manager when low.
• Maintain a clean and orderly site, including welfare and compound facilities.
• May be required to act as first aider on site.
• Assist with health and safety measures: pedestrian routes, perimeter fencing, fall protection, site shutdown procedures.
• Attend meetings as necessary in the performance of duties.
• Comply with and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Undertake any additional tasks as reasonably required.
• Ensure health and safety compliance relating to Covid-19.
