Job description

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train. Responsibilities
  • Looking after the camps general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
  • Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
  • Hand over and take back of accommodation and facilities to required standard
  • Carrying out tests - Flushing of outlets, fire extinguisher checks etc.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
  • Basic maintenance such as; replacing hasp and staples, bedsprings, door locks, moving furniture etc
  • Grounds maintenance such as; grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting
  • Gritting - Snow and ice clearance when required
  • Waste Management of Portaloo's - Cleaning and checking of the superloo's
  • Waste Sorting Station Duties
Qualifications
  • Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
  • General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to complete documentation
  • Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet
  • Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential) and for courses such as ATV Ride on Mower etc.
