Job summary

Veolia UK is seeking a Mobile Plant operator at Maresfield Waste Transfer Station in East Sussex. You will operate on-site plant, perform daily checks per the manufacturer’s handbook, and assist with loading materials and site housekeeping.

Training is provided for Teletruck, Loading Shovel, and Wheeled Materials Handler, with opportunities to work at other South Downs sites as needed. We offer 20 days leave, pension, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous operational/manual handling experience.
• Experience operating Mobile Plant: Teletruck, Loading Shovel, Wheeled Materials Handler (training can be provided).
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Operating the Mobile Plant on site, completing daily checks while maintaining the equipment in line with the manufacturer's hand book, including cleaning.
• Loading materials in and out of the site
• Provide weighbridge cover when needed
• Working at other sites within the South Downs contract area if required
• Site housekeeping
• Traffic control

Salary £31,580.64 plus Veolia Benefits Overtime is available Hours - an average 45 per week 7am- 4.30pm Tuesday to Saturday Location - Maresfield Waste Transfer Station, East Sussex TN22 2HN
