Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Supervisory, Team Leader or Operations Supervisor role.
• Proven experience within industrial cleaning, hazardous waste management, environmental services, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and hazardous materials handling.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects, teams and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support site operatives, providing guidance and development.
• Delegate duties based on team strengths and project requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery of multiple projects to required standards.
• Monitor progress against schedules, budgets and quality expectations.
• Act as primary on-site contact and resolve operational challenges.
• Enforce health and safety policies and conduct site inspections.
• Ensure safe handling, storage and disposal of hazardous materials where applicable.
• Oversee maintenance and safe operation of vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement to ensure timely materials delivery.
• Maintain clear client communication and high customer satisfaction.
• Promote a strong safety culture across projects and sites.
