Operations Supervisor

Location: Willenhall
Pay Rate: 15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join a growing and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in industrial cleaning, hazardous waste management, environmental services, or a similar operational environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of site operations across multiple projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Acting as the key on-site decision-maker, you will lead site teams, coordinate resources and maintain excellent client relationships throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support site operatives, providing guidance, training and ongoing development.
• Delegate duties effectively based on team strengths and project requirements.
• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of multiple projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets and quality expectations.
• Act as the primary on-site contact, resolving operational challenges and making key decisions when required.
• Enforce company health and safety policies, procedures and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Ensure the safe handling, storage and disposal of hazardous materials where applicable.
• Oversee the maintenance, condition and safe operation of company vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and supplies.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all projects and sites.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Supervisory, Team Leader or Operations Supervisor role.
• Proven experience within industrial cleaning, hazardous waste management, environmental services, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and hazardous materials handling.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment, machinery and tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects, teams and priorities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
