Job summary

Equans is seeking an Operations Manager for Barnet General Hospital on a permanent basis. The role covers day-to-day operations, staff management, customer service, and ensuring contractual compliance while delivering services to the highest standard.

You will oversee subcontractors, optimise supply chains and drive health and safety compliance, with projects delivered on time and to budget. The position offers a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong operational leadership and staff management experience in facilities/ FM.
• Proven track record in contract and subcontractor management.
• Effective KPI/SLA oversight and performance reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day site operation and ensure services meet high standards.
• Manage service delivery in line with contractual obligations and budgets.
• Lead the site operations team and subcontractors to achieve best value and compliance.
• Oversee supply chains to secure best value for goods and services.
• Ensure health and safety compliance per company policies and plans.
• Coordinate delivery of projects on time and within budget.
