Job summary

Howard Tenens in Swindon is seeking a Site Manager to lead end-to-end site operations, covering warehousing and transportation from stock receipt to delivery, while ensuring all customer contractual obligations are met.

You will shape the site strategy, drive improvements, manage people within budget, and act as an ambassador for the company’s cultural behaviours to achieve KPI targets and customer excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years senior management experience.
• International CPC preferred.
• O Licence holder experience preferred.
• Experience in commercially driven environments.
• Strategic planning and tactical execution.
• Knowledge of current H&S and HR legislation.
• Budgeting and cost management experience.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder negotiation skills.
• Track record of developing and implementing large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day depot operations and supervision.
• Meet and exceed depot financial objectives by forecasting requirements and analysing variances.
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage depot staff and set objectives.
• Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
• Develop depot operations systems for handling, storage, inventory, dispatch and delivery.
• Ensure relevant contractual obligations and business requirements are met.
