Job summary

You will manage the site and all employees, engage with the public, and promote recycling and diversion from landfill.

You will report non-compliances, complete timely administrative reporting, and support personal development and training for waste acceptance and site equipment.

Qualifications

• Team leader or supervisor experience is desirable.
• Flexible, forward thinking approach to handle a variety of tasks.
• Willingness to undertake personal development and training for waste acceptance, site equipment maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage the site and all employees and ensure compliant operations.
• Maintain health and safety of self, colleagues and site users.
• Be accountable for the site, staff and public entering the site.
• Assist the public politely and courteously.
• Promote recycling and diversion of waste from landfill.
• Report non-compliances to the site manager.
