Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a Site Manager in the United Kingdom to oversee daily site operations, ensure HSE compliance, and manage a team. The role includes maintaining KPIs for the client and driving value from operations while delivering excellent customer service to both the local authority client and the public.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safety, environmental standards, and operational performance across the site, including the use of mobile plant and material flow management.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and people management skills.
• COTC (Hazardous waste transfer/treatment) expertise.
• IOSH or NEBOSH safety qualification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
• Supervisory experience and team leadership.
• Customer-facing and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of the site.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Lead and manage a team based at the site.
• Monitor and improve KPIs for SUEZ and local authority client.
• Operate mobile plant and manage material flow.
• Deliver excellent customer service to the local authority client and public.
• Identify value-adding opportunities arising from site operations.
