Job summary

SUEZ R&R UK Ltd is seeking a site operative to assist the public, maintain records, and manage waste reception at the site. You will help coordinate container exchanges, keep the site tidy, and support health and safety compliance while learning about waste recovery.

Qualifications

• Be a enthusiastic team player and adaptable to cover holidays and sick days.
• Undertake personal development to gain waste acceptance and equipment maintenance skills.
• Possess basic administration skills for data recording and reporting systems; IOSH training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist the public on site usage to maximise material recovery.
• Maintain accurate records for removal of material and all site activities.
• Coordinate container exchanges by booking loads to keep space for segregation.
• Keep the site tidy and ensure compliance with health and safety duties.
• Support site permit compliance and policies; cooperate with the site team.
• Undertake first aider and fire warden duties on site.
• Perform other duties within the scope of the job role.
