Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager for a Brighton project. You will support the Project Manager with day-to-day management during a 12-week period, focusing on strip-out, demolition and refurbishment activities.

A hands-on approach with a strong health and safety record is required. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Project Manager and site team, managing weekend work, and ensuring compliance with SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and Temporary Works

Qualifications

• Must hold SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and a Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator qualification/card.
• Previous experience in refurbishment, strip-out and/or demolition works is required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential to coordinate with the Project Manager and site team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day management of the works.
• Oversee strip-out, demolition and refurbishment activities on site.
• Maintain health and safety records and ensure site compliance.
• Liaise with the wider site team and manage weekend work as needed.

Freelance Site Manager Brighton

Location: Brighton

Rate: £250 per day Paid CIS

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a project in Brighton for an initial 12-week period.

The project involves a complete strip-out and refurbishment, with the Site Manager working closely alongside the Project Manager and playing an active role in overseeing and assisting with the demolition phase.

Requirements

The successful Site Manager will need to hold:

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Temporary Works Supervisor / Temporary Works Coordinator qualification/card
• Previous experience managing refurbishment, strip-out and/or demolition works
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work closely with the Project Manager and wider site team
• A flexible approach to working hours as there will be weekend work available

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager with the day-to-day management of the works, with a particular focus on the strip-out, demolition and refurbishment activities. You will need to be hands-on and have a good Health and safety record
