Job summary

Hunter Savage is seeking a Site Manager / Supervisor (Civils / Railway) to lead on NI Railways framework projects. The role focuses on safe, efficient delivery, coordinating site activities, subcontractors and direct labour within a safety-critical environment.

Based across Northern Ireland, the position offers a clear path to senior site leadership. The candidate will supervise operations, drive safety culture, manage resources, and ensure compliance with client specs while maintaining quality

Qualifications

  • Valid CSR (Construction Skills Register) card and PTS card.
  • Proven experience in rail or infrastructure projects.
  • Full UK driving licence; able to work nights and weekends.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety protocol adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise site operations, ensuring work is safe, efficient and on programme.
  • Lead and support site teams, promoting health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Coordinate labour, plant and materials to maximise productivity.
  • Ensure work complies with client specifications, procedures and legislation.
  • Monitor quality and maintain accurate site records.
  • Deliver site briefings and ensure safe systems of work are followed.
  • Identify and report site issues, implementing corrective actions.

We are hiring for our client, a civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, seeking experienced Site Managers and Supervisors to join their team on the Northern Ireland Railways framework. This Site Manager / Supervisor role is a great opportunity for motivated rail professionals to play a key part in the safe, successful delivery of works across the rail network, coordinating site activities, subcontractors and direct labour in a safety-critical environment.

The Role
