Job summary

Progressive is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a major FMCG extension project based in Eye, Suffolk, on a four-month contract.

You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety and compliance, and maintain project schedule within a live facility. Immediate start available for the right candidate, with a competitive daily rate of 350-400 outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager on construction projects.
• Experience delivering projects in live environments is essential.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications held.

Site Manager - FMCG Extension Project

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major FMCG extension project based in Suffolk on a 4-month contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a high-profile construction project within a live operational environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day site operations and construction activities.


• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.


• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.


• Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.


• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.


• Liaise with the client, project team, and stakeholders.


• Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations within the live facility.


• Maintain site documentation and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Site Manager on construction projects.


• Previous experience delivering projects within live environments is essential.
