Job summary

Skilled Careers Ltd is seeking a Site Manager to oversee de- carb and refurbishment works on tenanted social housing properties in Gloucester. You will manage daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors and ensure safety and quality standards are met, while liaising with tenants to minimise disruption.

The role requires SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and asbestos awareness, with a proactive, hands-on approach and strong organisational skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Black CSCS Card (Gold/White may be considered)
• SMSTS Certification is required
• First Aid at Work
• Asbestos Awareness
• Proven experience in social housing refurbishment, particularly damp and mould remediation
• Experience working in both void and occupied properties
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proactive and hands-on approach with focus on resident satisfaction and safety
• Access to a vehicle and driving licence

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure smooth project delivery
• Coordinate subcontractors and maintain high standards of work
• Maintain strict health and safety compliance on site
• Liaise with tenants and stakeholders to minimise disruption
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks, maintain site records
• Monitor progress and quality to ensure timely completion of works
