Job summary

First Recruitment Group is seeking a Site Manager to deliver water infrastructure projects UK-wide. The role is home-based with regular site travel, offering opportunities across clean water, wastewater and pumping schemes.

You will manage site activities from mobilisation to completion, lead subcontractors and direct labour, and ensure safety, on-time, and on-budget delivery while coordinating RAMS, permits and site documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager in the water industry.
• Delivery of pump station, pipelines, clean water or wastewater projects.
• Strong health, safety and CDM knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple workstreams on site.
• SMSTS and First Aid qualifications.
• EUSR Water Hygiene desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Looking to join a leading water infrastructure business delivering vital projects across the UK?

We're working with a well-established organisation within the water sector looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of clean water, wastewater and pumping infrastructure projects.

This is a home-based role with regular site travel, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of water projects across major utility frameworks.

What you'll be doing

• Managing site activities from mobilisation through to completion
• Leading subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour teams
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
• Reviewing and implementing RAMS, permits and site documentation
• Managing health, safety and environmental compliance on site
• Coordinating works involving pumps, pipelines, water mains and associated infrastructure
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Monitoring progress, reporting performance and resolving site issues

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within the water industry
• Experience delivering pump station, pipeline, clean water or wastewater projects
• Strong understanding of health & safety and CDM requirements
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple workstreams on site
• SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
• EUSR Water Hygiene desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
