Job summary

St Mary of the Angels Catholic Primary School, Walsall, is seeking a capable Site Manager to oversee day-to-day management, maintenance and security of the school site. The role is 37 hours per week, all year, with early mornings and afternoons Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include site security, health and safety checks, cleaning duties, proactive maintenance, basic DIY and repairs, supervising cleaning staff, liaison with contractors, and support for events and lettings.

Salary: Grade 5 SCP 12-17 (£29,542-£32,046 actual)

37 hours per week, (All Year)

Monday-Friday: 6:30-10:00am and 2:00-6:00pm Mon-Thur Fri 2:00pm- 5:30pm

Start date: ASAP

Closing date: Wednesday 7th October 12pm

The Governors of St Mary of the Angels Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a dedicated, proactive, and practical Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance and security of the school site.

The successful candidate will take pride in their work and ensure the school environment is safe, secure, well maintained and welcoming for all.

Responsibilities include site security, health and safety checks, cleaning duties, proactive maintenance, basic DIY and repairs, supervision of cleaning staff, liaison with contractors, support for events and lettings. The role includes acting as a key holder and responding to alarms when required.
