Job summary

JobsTrackR is recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a 12-month recladding project in Cardiff, starting January 2027. You will lead the site team, oversee render and façade works, and ensure safety, programme and quality across all activities.

The role requires proven main-contractor site management experience, strong recladding/facade refurbishment background, and formal safety qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS Black Manager’s Card, First Aid).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.
• Strong recladding/external refurbishment/facade experience.
• Experience managing render projects is highly beneficial.
• SMSTS qualification.
• CSCS Black Manager's Card.
• First Aid certification.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Site Manager – Recladding

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a main contractor on a 12-month recladding project in Cardiff, commencing January 2027.

The project involves render and external façade works, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background delivering recladding / external refurbishment projects for a main contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the site and site team
• Oversee render, recladding and associated façade works
• Manage subcontractors and labour on site
• Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with RAMS
• Liaise with the Project Manager, client, subcontractors and wider project team
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality throughout the project

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor
• Strong recladding / external refurbishment / façade experience
• Previous experience managing render projects would be highly beneficial
• SMSTS
