Job summary

Winberry Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager - Mechanical to lead projects from site set-up to completion across the UK for events, infrastructure and temporary works. You will manage labour, subcontractors, deliveries and day-to-day site activities.

The role suits an experienced manager with a mechanical or plumbing background, strong health and safety knowledge, and a willingness to travel and stay away when required. A clear path to progression within operations is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Manager or Site Supervisor experience.
• Mechanical or plumbing background preferred.
• Strong health and safety knowledge.
• Experience managing teams and subcontractors.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Happy to travel and stay away when required.
• Plumbing background.
• Forklift Licence.
• HGV Licence.
• Electrical knowledge.
• Events, construction or temporary works experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from site set‑up through to completion, managing labour, subcontractors, deliveries and day‑to‑day site activities.
• Work across event, construction and infrastructure projects, delivering works safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Coordinate multiple trades, manage site teams, oversee Health & Safety and ensure projects are completed to the highest standard.
