Job summary

Winberry Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager - Mechanical to lead major event, infrastructure and temporary works projects across the UK from site set‑up through to completion.

You will manage labour, subcontractors, deliveries and day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.

This role suits someone with a mechanical or plumbing background, strong health & safety knowledge, and the flexibility to travel and stay away when required.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Manager or Site Supervisor experience.
• Mechanical or plumbing background preferred.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge.
• Experience managing teams and subcontractors.
• SSSTS desirable.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Happy to travel and stay away when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from site set-up through to completion, coordinating labour, subcontractors, deliveries and daily site activities.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule across event, construction and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate multiple trades, manage site teams, oversee Health & Safety and ensure high standards on delivery.
