Job summary

Arena Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects from start to finish. You will manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure health and safety compliance, and keep projects on time and within budget.

You will lead site teams, liaise with clients and consultants, conduct inspections, and maintain quality standards while controlling costs and resources.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager in construction.
• SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid qualifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations from project start through to completion.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour.
• Monitor project programmes and ensure milestones are achieved on schedule.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
• Manage site documentation, reports, and records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to provide regular updates.
• Identify and resolve site issues efficiently to minimise delays and risks.
• Support the commercial team in managing project costs and resources.
