Job summary

Interaction Engineering is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day site operations on allocated projects. The role requires coordinating trades, ensuring safety and quality, and maintaining the project programme.

You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, clients, subcontractors and site teams to deliver projects efficiently. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills in a busy construction environment.

Qualifications

• Requires proven experience coordinating site operations and managing trades.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and RAMS.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on allocated projects.
• Ensure activities are planned and carried out to the programme.
• Attend progress meetings and brief Contracts Manager on issues.
• Identify and report health and safety, programme, quality, productivity or cost risks.
• Monitor progress and assist in maintaining the project programme.
• Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors for timely completion.
• Oversee materials delivery and availability to sustain progress.
• Maintain accurate records of variations, delays and issues.
• Keep site safe, clean and well-organised and foster a safety culture.
• Assist with site audits and corrective actions as needed.
