Job summary

Henley Chase is seeking a Site Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to budget. You will coordinate site teams, manage resources, and liaise with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners across the project lifecycle.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will monitor costs, review designs for value engineering, and maintain QA/QEMS standards while building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and CSCS cards are essential for site access and safety compliance.
• Proven leadership and team-management experience on construction projects.
• Strong communication skills with clients, design teams, and suppliers.
• Knowledge of QA/QEMS procedures and site safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction activities to deliver on time and within budget.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, design teams, and supply chain partners.
• Monitor project costs, margins, and resources with the Quantity Surveyors.
• Review designs and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Prepare and manage site documentation, schedules, and lookahead programmes.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
