Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group are seeking an Experienced Site Manager to join their delivery team across Basingstoke and Newbury. You will manage a £5m industrial scheme in Basingstoke and progress to a £12m business park development in Newbury.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead the site team, coordinate works with subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and programme milestones are met through completion in March 2027.

Qualifications

• Requires experienced Site Manager with ability to act as strong No.2 to Project Manager
• Main-contractor background advantageous, transferable from related construction roles
• Experience across multiple stages: groundworks, structural works, internal fit-out, finishing and handover

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, coordinate works and short-term programming
• Monitor health and safety, quality control and progress against programme
• Liaise with client and consultants, conduct snagging and handover
• Lead site activities across industrial, warehouse or commercial-unit schemes
