Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on projects in the Basingstoke and Newbury area. You will manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and drive projects through to completion with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role covers initial works on a £5m industrial project, followed by a £12m development including multi-unit facilities. A solid main contractor background and SMSTS/CSCS/First Aid are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager on main contracting projects.
• Strong focus on HSE standards and site safety.
• Good technical and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Managing site-based construction activities and subcontractors.
• Assisting with short-term programming and coordination of works.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained across site.
• Monitoring quality and progress against programme.
• Coordinating subcontractors and resolving site issues as they arise.
• Supporting snagging, completion and handover of projects.
