Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a long-term groundworks and civils project in Surrey. You will lead 3–4 gangs, coordinate labour, plant, materials and deliveries, and ensure safe, on-time delivery in line with the programme and specifications.

The ideal candidate has proven site management experience in groundworks/civils, a strong grasp of H&S requirements, RAMS, and the ability to work with subcontractors and client representatives on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager in groundworks and civils on building extensions.
• Strong understanding of groundworks, drainage, concrete and civil operations.
• Able to manage multiple gangs and subcontractors effectively.
• Good knowledge of RAMS and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate 3–4 groundworks/civils gangs across site.
• Oversee daily activities, ensure works meet programme and specs.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and deliveries to stay on schedule.
• Liaise with Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client reps.
• Maintain site records, daily reports, and project documentation.
