Job summary

Map Talent is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to lead groundworks and civils on a long-term Chippenham project. You will coordinate 3-4 groundworks gangs, supervise activities to meet programme, and ensure safety, quality and documentation are in line with RAMS and site procedures.

The role demands strong organisational and communication skills, CSCS and SMSTS, and experience with Procore. Immediate start for the right candidate on a reputable contractor.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate 3-4 groundworks/civils gangs across site.
• Oversee daily site activities to meet programme and spec.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and deliveries to maintain schedule.
• Manage material and plant orders with suppliers/subcontractors.
• Ensure works comply with RAMS and safety procedures.
• Monitor quality and resolve issues promptly.
• Liaise with Project Manager, engineers and client reps.
• Maintain site records and daily progress reports.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Utilise Procore for documentation and reporting.
