Job summary

RTL Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to manage civil engineering works on renewable energy projects. You will be responsible for setting out using total station and GPS, supervising on-site activities, and ensuring works are delivered safely, to method, and on time.

The role requires CSCS, driving licence, and strong communication skills, with SSSTS/SMSTS preferred. You will collaborate with the PM team to maintain documentation and site standards across multiple contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card.
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

Site Engineer responsibilities:

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.
