Job summary

Time Recruitment seeks an experienced Site Manager for the final phase of a shop refurbishment in Bentham, Lancaster. The role manages snagging, scaffolding removal, structural works in a pharmacy area, and coordination of subcontractors. Short-term contract, 5 days, ASAP start, 07:00–16:00.

You will oversee completion works, ensure safety and programme delivery, maintain standards, and communicate with the client and project team throughout the finish phase.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial/retail refurbishment projects.
• Strong building/refurbishment and structural works background.
• Experience supervising wall demolition and structural alterations.
• Excellent communication and ability to coordinate multiple trades.
• Capable of delivering works to programme while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee completion phase, snagging and final completion works.
• Supervise removal of temporary props and scaffolding safely.
• Oversee structural works within the pharmacy area.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site activities to fit programme.
• Ensure works are delivered safely and in line with schedule.
• Maintain health, safety, and site compliance across works.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Liaise with client and project team through completion phase.
