Job summary

Trant Engineering is seeking a Site Manager to lead safety, quality and delivery on key UK projects. You will oversee day-to-day site activities, chair coordination with engineering and commissioning teams, and manage subcontractors to meet programme targets.

The role requires SMSTS certification and proven site management experience, with a track record in water or energy sectors and strong safety and regulatory compliance focus.

Qualifications

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering projects in water and/or energy sectors.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise site teams, including subcontractors and operatives.
• Ensure safe, efficient delivery of construction and installation works.
• Oversee site resources, plant and materials; maintain quality and inspections.
• Coordinate with design, engineering and commissioning teams to meet programme.
