Job summary

Trant Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Electrical Supervisor to lead on-site electrical teams and subcontractors across national projects in the energy division. The role requires adherence to UK electrical regulations, coordination with civil and mechanical teams, and strong focus on safety and quality.

Regular travel is expected. Candidates should have a JIB Gold Card, 18th Edition BS 7671, and 5–7 years' electrical installation experience on large-scale projects, including

Qualifications

• JIB gold card is required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) knowledge.
• Electrical installation on industrial or infrastructure projects (5–7 years).
• Experience in a supervisory role (2–3 years).

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical operatives, electricians, apprentices and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate electrical activities with civil, mechanical and process teams.
• Ensure compliance with design drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for QA/QC.
• Lead toolbox talks, risk assessments and permit-to-work processes.
