Job summary

Trant Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager for Reading/Thames Water region to lead complex engineering projects end-to-end. You will plan, execute and deliver within scope, budget and deadlines, coordinating internal teams, clients, subcontractors and suppliers while maintaining SHEQ compliance.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, budgeting and multi-site coordination, with a focus on safety, quality and commercial objectives across water, energy and utilities sectors.

Qualifications

• NVQ/HND/HNC in Engineering, Construction, or PM.
• Knowledge of UK engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• SMSTS certification is essential.
• Proven experience managing engineering projects in water/energy/utilities.
• Experience delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver engineering projects within scope, budget and schedule.
• Manage resources, risks and budgets; report variances to senior management.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Lead project teams and support staff development.
• Monitor progress, manage invoices and payments to subcontractors.
