Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager for a major drylining package in Yeovil, Somerset. You will oversee a £2 million works scope, manage subcontractors, coordinate materials and ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to high standards.

You should have strong drylining experience, SMSTS, CSCS Black Card and First Aid, plus an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or equivalent. The role offers a permanent or contract path with clear opportunities across the South West.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or equivalent.
• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card and First Aid certification.
• Strong drylining experience and understanding of systems.
• Experience managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong health & safety knowledge and site reporting.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on a £2 million drylining package.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and subcontractors to meet programme targets.
• Monitor quality, health & safety, and compliance across drylining works.
• Maintain site documentation: progress reports, RFIs, variations, and site diaries.
• Liaise closely with the Principal Contractor, consultants and wider project team.
• Produce short-term programmes and monitor progress against milestones.
• Support and mentor site teams while maintaining strong working relationships on site.
