Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is recruiting a Project Manager for a leading drylining contractor in Yeovil, Somerset. You will take overall responsibility for delivering a £2 million drylining package on a major project, managing site teams and subcontractors to meet programme, cost and quality targets.

The role demands strong technical knowledge of drylining systems, plus SMSTS and CSCS qualifications, with a focus on safety, timely deliveries and client liaison.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager within drylining, interiors or a specialist subcontracting environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of drylining systems and specifications.
• Previous experience managing significant drylining packages from commencement through to completion.
• Strong understanding of project programming, commercial management and construction delivery.
• SMSTS and CSCS qualification(s).

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the delivery of a £2 million drylining package.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, labour, materials and resources throughout the project.
• Develop and monitor project programmes to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Liaise closely with the Principal Contractor, consultants, commercial team and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project costs, variations and commercial performance alongside the Quantity Surveying team.
• Oversee quality, health & safety and compliance across all drylining works.
• Chair and attend progress meetings, providing regular updates on programme and project performance.
• Identify potential risks and delays, implementing solutions to maintain project progress.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• Lead and support the site management team throughout project delivery.
