Pantheon Recruitment Ltd is assisting a Midlands-based drylining contractor in recruiting a Drylining Site Manager to oversee projects around Birmingham.

You will manage the drylining package day-to-day, supervise trades, monitor programme, ensure quality and H&S, and liaise with the main contractor to keep sites on track. Experience on commercial or student accommodation schemes is preferred.

Job description

I'm looking for a Drylining Site Manager for a contractor based around Birmingham.

They're a smaller dryliner at the minute, but that's actually part of the appeal.

Top fellas to work for, plenty of work ahead of them and genuine plans to grow the business over the next few years.

Their work is all around the Midlands, predominantly commercial and student accommodation projects, so you're not going to be getting sent to the other end of the country every other week.

You’ll be running the drylining package day-to-day - managing the lads, keeping on top of programme, quality and H&S, dealing with the main contractor and generally making sure the job runs as it should.

Nothing revolutionary.

They just want someone who knows drylining, knows how to run a site and doesn't need chasing around to get things done.

You’ll need previous experience managing drylining packages, ideally across commercial or student accommodation schemes.

It’s probably a particularly good move for someone who likes the idea of joining a business while it's still relatively small, becoming an important part of the team and growing with them as they take on more work.

No massive corporate structure. No disappearing into the machine.

Just a good drylining contractor, good lads running it and a decent opportunity for the right Site Manager.
