Job summary

Ridgeway & Co are currently recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join an established and growing contractor delivering high-quality residential fit-out and internal packages. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring internal works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

This position would suit a Site Manager with a strong background in residential construction,

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager / Finishing Manager / Internals Manager.
• Strong residential fit-out or internal packages experience essential.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of residential fit-out and internal works.
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and direct labour.
• Overseeing packages including drylining, carpentry, joinery, ceilings, flooring, decorating and finishes.
• Managing programme and ensuring milestones are achieved.
• Maintaining health and safety standards on site.
• Liaising with the Project Manager, commercial and design teams and subcontractors.
• Attending progress meetings and providing regular site updates.
• Ensuring materials and labour are available in line with programme requirements.
• Snagging, defects and handover activities.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring internal works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

This position would suit a Site Manager with a strong background in residential construction, fit-out, internals or finishing, who is comfortable managing projects through the internal stages to completion and handover.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of residential fit-out and internal works.
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and direct labour.
• Overseeing packages including drylining, carpentry, joinery, ceilings, flooring, decorating and finishes.
• Managing programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to specification.
• Managing snagging, defects and works through to final handover.
• Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and health & safety checks.
• Liaising with the Project Manager, commercial team, design team and subcontractors.
• Attending progress meetings and providing regular site updates.
• Ensuring materials and labour are available in line with programme requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety throughout the project.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Manager / Finishing Manager / Internals Manager.
• Strong residential fit-out or internal packages experience essential.
• Good knowledge of finishing trades and sequencing.
• Ability to drive programme while maintaining quality.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• SMSTS.
• CSCS.
• First Aid.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
