Job summary

Pantheon Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Site Manager for a rapidly growing drylining contractor on a circa £3m project in central Birmingham. The role offers direct access to senior leadership, autonomy, and real progression as the business grows.

You will manage on-site delivery of drylining, supervise labour and subcontractors, drive the programme, and ensure quality and safety standards are upheld through to completion.

Qualifications

• Experience managing drylining / SFS / ceilings / partitions packages.
• Experience running your own projects.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day delivery of a significant drylining package on site.
• Manage labour and subcontractors on site.
• Drive programme and ensure works stay on schedule.
• Maintain quality and health & safety standards on site.
• Coordinate with main contractor and other trades.
• Manage materials, site logistics and sequencing of works.
• Report progress back to Contracts Manager/Director.

I'm working with a small but rapidly growing drylining contractor who are looking for a Site Manager to take control of a circa £3m project in central Birmingham.

This is a good opportunity for someone who wants more than just another project to manage. The business is still relatively small, meaning you'll have direct access to the senior team, plenty of autonomy and a genuine opportunity to progress as the company continues to grow.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a significant drylining package, including:

• Managing labour and subcontractors on site
• Driving programme and ensuring works stay on schedule
• Maintaining quality and health & safety standards
• Coordinating with the main contractor and other trades
• Managing materials, site logistics and sequencing of works
• Reporting progress back to the Contracts Manager/Director
• Taking ownership of the project through to completion

What They're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience managing drylining / SFS / ceilings / partitions packages
• Experience running your own projects
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
• The confidence to take ownership rather than needing to be micromanaged
